Behind
the design
Step into this meticulously renovated four-bedroom, two-bath colonial, a true gem nestled in Massachusetts' lower North Shore. This 1920 home seamlessly blends timeless elegance with modern comfort, featuring classic moldings and contemporary fixtures.

The inviting color palette, inspired by the lightness of pampas grass, welcomes you with energizing linen white and cozy wheat-tinged beige. Dainty chandeliers grace the main living areas, adding a touch of feminine charm.

In the expansive kitchen, two-toned cabinets create a striking contrast, complemented by an arched doorway adorned with whitewashed stone leading to the dining room. The living room, equipped with a custom entertainment area and electric fireplace, offers both supplemental heat and evening ambiance.

Venture upstairs to discover the sky parlor suite, a haven with a primary bedroom enhanced by whitewashed stone texture and an oversized master bathroom featuring sleek, large-format tiles. The lower level unveils two sizable bedrooms and a second bath, perfect for family and guests.

Beyond the property, the street exudes allure, the backyard is tranquil, and the central location places you minutes from the train into Boston, oceanfront, parks, shops, and restaurants.

This click and lock vinyl flooring was installed throughout this entire property project. I chose it because it's warm-leaning and has no gray in it, making it the perfect floor color to pair with a warm color palette! Also, the cork underlayment is pre-attached to the back making installation super quick.

After ordering multiple sets of knobs, I found the color and durability of this set to be just what I was looking for. I used these simple champagne bronze pulls on all cabinets and closets, and paired them with champagne bronze cup pulls for all the drawers.

This rug is simply the best! It's machine washable, super affordable for the quality and has a non-slip backing, so no need to add a non-slip rug pad.

Affordable, elegant and the perfect size arched mirror.

This electric fireplace insert was perfect for my custom built-in. It comes in multiple sizes and heats up to 400 sqft.

These amber glass dispensers are perfect for an instant shower glow-up. They're durable and the labels are completely waterproof.

I swapped an outdated trash compactor with this wine fridge, which was a great value (less expensive than installing a basic cabinet box), and fit the space perfectly.

I mixed metals in this bathroom for added visual interest. Polished chrome for the faucets and shower system, black for the mirrors and shower door, and champagne bronze for the cabinet pulls. These 3 hole faucets were easy to install and come with a pop-up drain system.

Sure, you can pick a basic toilet... but why not pick a pretty one? I chose this toilet because it's high efficient, has some pretty detail on the tank lid and is a great value. I purchased the black lid separately to make it just a little more custom looking.

I knew I wanted a minimalist striped pattern to break up the large format tile but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Check the link to see the tile I purchased to create this effect. I cut the tile and repositioned it, being careful to continue the vertical striped pattern to accomplish this look.
